The Washington State Academy of Pediatric Dentistry is an organization of more than 200 pediatric dentists, who are dedicated to the oral health of Washingtonians from infancy through the teenage years, as well as individuals with special health care needs.
This organization aims to serve as a conduit between patient families, private practitioners, government, private and academic institutions, each with a common goal to provide children in the state of Washington with a strong foundation toward a lifetime of optimal oral health.

On December 12, 1995, the Foundation began with only $250, and by 2014, over $170,000 has been raised. The founding members of the WSAPD Foundation defined a mission to improve the oral health of Washington’s children, as well as support advanced education in pediatric dentistry. Over the past 20 years, the Foundation has supported resident research and education, and established an endowment for ongoing program support at the University of Washington Center for Pediatric Dentistry. For more information on our mission, programs, and opportunities to donate, please visit our website at http://wsapdf.org/.
